With multiple parties being involved in a MiCloud Office phone system deployment, let’s take a moment to define them.
Service Provider (SP)
Provides voice and data services to business customer and hosts the service to service on behalf of channel partners. Service may be branded for the channel partner base on minimum commitment and additional fees.
Customer contracts with Channel Partner (e.g Denwa) for voice and/or data services
The Reseller or Channel Partner such as Denwa, acts as a selling agent for the SP and provide on-site services when required. In this model, the reseller is the SP of record for their customer and will typically have more responsibility in the complete service delivery.
They may then employ their own networks of reseller agent. Channel Partner is responsible for provisioning users, answer points and desk phones into MiCloud Office as well as obtaining sip porting authorisation from Customer if port-in is required. Channel Partner performs customer training and provides 1st and 2nd line support for customers.
