Approvals in Teams

Approvals in Teams enables everyone to easily create, share and manage approvals directly from your hub for teamwork.

Quickly start an approval flow from the same place you send a chat or directly from the approvals app itself.

Simply select an approval type, attach files, add details and choose who needs to approve it. Once submitted, approvers will receive a notification alerting them and can review, edit and act upon the request. Ideal for everything from expenses claims to project sign offs.

Offline Autosend

If you're experiencing interrupted network connection, the offline experience for Teams helps you continue to be productive.

Offline Autosend automatically detects when Teams messages are edited or sent whilst the user is offline and sends them once a connection is reestablished.

Up to 10,000 Users in an Org-wide Team

You can now create an org-wide team of up to 10,000 users. Administrators who manage tenants that have less than or equal to 10,000 members can now create an org-wide team, which automatically syncs all the tenant’s members with the team.

Large channels like this are perfect for communicating company wide announcements or sharing documents to the whole business.

Meeting Chat Moderation Settings

Meeting organisers and teachers can now choose from three preset chat settings to provide a safe and inclusive meeting environment.

You can select options to;

"Disable" the chat, preventing the organiser and any participants from using the meeting chat

"Only during the meeting", allowing the organiser to send messages any time and participants to send messages only during the meeting.

"Enabled", allowing chats for all meeting attendees at any time.

Shared Calendars

Create and share a calendar with members of a specific channel.

When a channel meeting is created, Teams automatically creates a new post in the channel's activity feed. If a user has notifications turned off they will only see the event when opening and viewing the channel's calendar.

You can add channel events directly to your personal calendar.

Education Policy Wizard

With most education now being conducted remotely or part of a hybrid learning model, it's more important than ever to keep your school staff and pupils safe.

Microsoft Teams for Education policy wizard allows you to easily apply education tailored policies in order to provide a safe learning environment.

The policy wizard allows you as an IT admin to quickly and easily apply the most relevant set of policies for students at a global (Org-wide default) level and apply a custom policy set to a group of educators and staff tailored to their needs.

Task Publishing

As the need for corporate offices to communicate better with their frontline workers becomes a key focus, task publishing allows companies to create tasks centrally and publish those tasks based on customisable attributes such as location or store layouts.

Task creators can then attach relevant documents to the tasks created such as layout guides.

Managers are able to assign individual tasks to employees, whilst frontline workers can see a simple prioritised list of those tasks on their mobile device.

@mention by Shift Group

Tagging by shift connects you to the right shift faster, removing the guesswork of which employee is on which shift and automatically assigns users with tags matching their schedule in the Shifts app in Teams.

Use the @mention tag to start calls, chats or notify everyone on a channel
