How to Log In and Out of Hot Desking on a Mitel IP Phone

You can log into any phone that's designated as a Hot Desk. You can then use your existing settings and recall your personal call history.

To activate this feature, you need to log in to the phone.

This Mitel phone guide is for MiVoice Business (also known as Mitel 3300 ICP) users only.

Logging In to a Hot Desk Phone

To log in, the phone must not be in use. Follow these steps:

  1. Press the Hot Desking pre-programmed key (ask your administrator if you're not sure which key to use)
  2. Press Login
  3. Tap in your Hot Desk user directory number, which is unique to your profile
  4. Enter your PIN number
  5. Press OK

Logging Out of a Hot Desk Phone

To log out, the phone must not be in use. Follow these steps:

  1. Press the Hot Desking pre-programmed key (ask your administrator if you're not sure which key to use)
  2. Press Logout
  3. Press Confirm

Your own unique profile can only be used on one phone at a time. If you are logged into a Hot Desk phone, and you then log in to another phone, your first session will be logged out automatically.
